Section — what is included
What interior detailing includes
Our interior detail is the deep clean your cabin needs when a vacuum and a wipe-down stop being enough. It covers:
- A full vacuum of carpets, floor mats, seats, seat rails, the trunk or cargo area, and the gaps between and under the seats.
- Steam cleaning of hard surfaces — dashboard, console, door panels, vents and the tight areas a cloth cannot reach.
- Cleaning of all interior surfaces, including plastics, trim, cupholders, storage pockets and the inside of the glovebox.
- Door jambs cleaned, which is where Calgary salt builds up fastest and where most quick washes stop.
- Interior glass cleaned streak-free.
- [CONFIRM: whether leather conditioning, fabric protection, headliner and seat belts are included in the $130/$150 price, or available as add-ons.]
The flyer describes this service as "Deep clean, vacuum, steam, all surfaces, door jambs, and more." The list above is the practical expansion of that description. Anything not confirmed by the owner is marked.

Interior detailing prices in Calgary
[CONFIRM: pricing for SUVs, crossovers, minivans and 7-seat vehicles. The flyer lists only two tiers.]
[CONFIRM: add-on pricing for pet hair removal, heavy stain or odour treatment, and leather conditioning. Do not publish figures until confirmed.]
Why the price is what it is: interior work is almost entirely hand labour. Two vehicles of the same size can take very different amounts of time depending on how much salt, sand, pet hair and staining is in the carpets and seats. If your vehicle needs significantly more work than a standard detail, we will tell you before we start rather than after.
Section — Calgary salt cycle
Why Calgary interiors need a deep clean
Calgary is one of the harder cities in Canada on a car interior, and the reason is the salt cycle. From roughly October to April, road salt and calcium-chloride brine are tracked in on boots and dry into white, chalky rings on carpets, floor mats, seat bases and door sills. Salt is abrasive and mildly corrosive, and it works its way into the carpet backing rather than sitting on top of it, which is why a normal vacuum or an all-purpose cleaner tends to smear it instead of removing it.
Then spring arrives with street-sweeping grit and gravel dust, and summer brings dust from construction and dry heat that bakes spills into fabric. Add pets, kids, coffee and the occasional forgotten gym bag, and a cabin that looked fine in September can smell like a locker room by March.
Deep cleaning — steam plus proper extraction rather than surface wiping — is what actually removes the source instead of masking it.

Section — scope
What we do not include (and what to add)
Being clear about scope is what separates a real detail from an upsell. Unless confirmed otherwise:
- Headliner cleaning and seat belt cleaning are not part of the standard interior detail. [CONFIRM]
- Heavy pet hair, smoke odour, mould or biohazard cleanup may need extra time and are quoted separately. [CONFIRM]
- Exterior washing is not included. If you want both, the Full Detailing Package at $220 (cars) or $250 (trucks) covers interior and exterior together and is better value than booking them separately.
- Paint polishing is a separate service. Interior detailing cleans the cabin; it does not correct paint.
Section — duration and preparation
How long it takes and how to prepare
Typical time: [CONFIRM: expected duration, e.g. 2–4 hours depending on vehicle size and condition.]
Before you arrive:
- Remove personal items, valuables and anything you want to keep out of the vehicle. Child seats should be removed if you want the area beneath them cleaned. [CONFIRM: whether the team removes child seats.]
- Tell us about pets, smoke, spills or heavy staining when you book, so the right amount of time is reserved.
- If your carpets will be wet after extraction, plan to leave windows cracked for a few hours afterwards. [CONFIRM: drying guidance for the shop.]

Frequently asked questions
At Drivers & Riders, interior detailing is $130 for a sedan, hatchback or coupe and $150 for a truck. The price covers a deep clean with vacuum, steam, all interior surfaces and door jambs.
A full vacuum of carpets, mats, seats and cargo areas; steam cleaning of hard surfaces; cleaning of all interior surfaces and trim; door jambs; and interior glass. It is a deep clean, not a quick wipe-down.
Yes. Salt and calcium-chloride brine are the most common interior problem in Calgary. Salt needs to be dissolved and extracted rather than wiped, which is why steam and extraction are part of the service.
Pet hair that has worked into fabric needs mechanical removal before vacuuming will do anything. [CONFIRM: whether pet hair removal is included or an add-on, and the price.]
[CONFIRM duration.] Most interior details are completed the same day.
Please remove personal items and valuables. If you want the area under child seats cleaned, remove the seats before drop-off.
A clean, odour-free cabin is one of the first things a buyer notices, and it is usually the cheapest part of resale prep. Pair it with the Full Detailing Package if the exterior needs work too.
